As the line between indoor and outdoor blurs, more of the home’s activities move outdoors into our outdoor entertaining/living spaces. This includes food prep. What used to be a simple charcoal grill on a rolling cart has grown up to become a full-featured kitchen located outdoors, with multiple cooking devices, refrigeration, kegerators and wine storage, warming drawers, even dishwashers, and ice makers!
Villa Terrazza offers a line of modular outdoor cabinetry that is as nice as any indoor kitchen. Featuring soft-close doors and drawers, lots of great finish colors and faux wood grains, and many door styles. Like in your indoor kitchen, appliances can be built-in, hidden behind matching cabinet door fronts. Since all the cabinetry is stainless steel, rodents can’t chew their way inside, and the cabinetry is very low-maintenance.
There are many different cabinet types, all are available in a variety of widths ranging from 9” to 60” in 3” increments. Base Cabinet depths are available in 27” depth or 24” when space is tighter.
Designing an outdoor kitchen may seem like a daunting task, but it's actually fun. Just like indoor kitchen planning, divide the area into ‘zones’ pertaining to what activity happens in it. We divide the zones into:
Prep – Where vegetables are chopped, meats marinated, lettuce shredded. Tools of the trade:
